Nine IPS officers reshuffled in Delhi

New Delhi: As many as nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been reshuffled in Delhi. SBK Singh, an IPS officer of 1988 batch, has been appointed Special CP, Technical and Project Implementation Division, Delhi Police, while Neeraj Thakur, an IPS officer of 1994 batch, Special CP, Special Cell, has got the additional charge of Special CP, Crime.

Dr Sagar Preet Hooda, 1997 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Special CP, L&O Zone –II. Chhaya Sharma, 1999 batch IPS officer, Joint CP, has got the additional charge of Joint CP, Eastern Range, while Dr Ajit Kumar Singla, IPS officer of 2004 batch, is the new Joint CP, P&L. PN Khirmey, IPS officer of 2004 batch, has been appointed Joint CP, Security.

According to an official order, Hibu Tamang, IPS officer of 2004, has been appointed Joint CP, Police Headquarters, while Madhur Verma, an IPS officer of 2005 batch, is the new Additional CP, Armed Police, while Chinmoy Biswal, Additional CP, Western Range. /BI/
